i can kinda tell tho cause if there was a light at the top there would be shadows under everything

no there are shadows, but there on glass so it would probably show the ponies thought in the shadow or maybe i just dont know how light works X3

No, you're right, the glass casts too much shadow on it's own and it overshadows (I'm sorry) pony shadows.
I think I might update this with more realistic shadows soon.

Yeah this was done two years ago so no wonder it's dated, since then both Blender and my skill improved so it'll be nice to revisit this one.

i have to say VERY very nice. that is one of the best looking set of 3D pony models i have seen in quite some time. one question, how long did it take to render?

Yeah they are, they are not mine though. It took about 1.5-2h on GTX670.

oh my goodness! but, it does look amazing. and i actually have those same models. i really like them. havent gone and made them compatable with Cycles yet. they are just sitting on my Hdd. probably should try to do something with them.Β
