- AAAAA okay so, this page has some of my favorite scenes in this entire chapter. I'm gonna try to go in chronological order. First of all, Pips is back! And we learn that her full name is actually Piper (can't remember if that's been stated or not). I definitely want to explore more of hers and Brendan's relationship in the future. But for now, they're just two cutie patooties whom kiba is eyeing down in muffled jealousy...

- Speaking of Kiba, you don't know how much of a relief it was to have that moment of levity between her and Sammy!! Wow you mean they CAN actually get along as a team?? That, paired with Sammy getting actually flustered made this my favorite scene on this page. Fun fact, the last time we saw Kiba crack a laugh was this page .

- Yes, i'm putting a spotlight on how quickly Kiba's guard can go up (in regards to her convo with Sammy) but also how quickly it CAN come crumbling down (in regards to Pip), much to her annoyance. But more on that later, just like all the other character stuff haha

- OH YEAH!! I FINALLY get to show some of the pre-existing relationship between Sammy and Gex! Or- uh, Leaflurker and BookKip haha. You can actually see them talking all the way back in chapter 1 . And in the original version of chapter 13, they were supposed to have a much longer conversation about their trainers while in the same cafeteria as Asadi (in fact, the pokeroom was the back half of the regular cafeteria in the original version). They're both pretty chill, older boys who happened to cross paths in Birch's lab. And would occasionally meet to talk. As with everything else, I want to go more into their dynamic later on. But that's the jist of it.

- Wuh oh...what's wrong with Danny...? He seems a bit more grumpy than usual...

- It's always a good time when I get to show some soff Kiba content, and this page has the sofftest kiba content thus far
