this is seriously so amazing to watch, you can see the effort that went into it and it's just such a cool idea. The animation is soo smooth and the expressions are fantastic!! So friggin cool, gosh I can't stop watching!!! So I wanted to branch out from my normal stuff and do something a little more ....dynamic? We got shading, background, all that stuff I'm normally too lazy to do, why? Cuz this animatic deserves it.
This is Steban, who is stuck in a town cursed by the devil herself. In the animatic, he's running to escape the town and the evil entity. Again these characters aren't mine!!

This is the first time I've even heard of an Animatic (last I had enough time to blow hanging around on YouTube, Animashes were the really big thing), but I really loved this! How many YouTube artists produce these style of animations? Is it just this one person or are there many and this one is just particularly skilled at the craft?

Many animatics out there aren't of original characters like this one, many of them are considered fan art etc: Hamilton, Warrior Cats, Steven Universe and other popular shows, books, movies or plays. Most of the ones I like have to do with animals, many of the animatics are with humans. Nothing wrong with them, just not my cup of tea. I also like to watch MEPs or Multiple Entry Parts, a compilation on animation by a bunch of different artist. Here's one of my favorites: youtu.be/0oJ2xnZbJKg
