I figured it was something someone gave to her. As a gift to give I'd say it's the kind of thing she'd give Lyta, but for Lyta part of the fun would be putting it together herself. And of course, if Clarissa's at someone else's house it raises some questions as to why she's naked except for a spiked collar (actually, there are questions about that even if she's at home).
