Colored my sketch of Sara from yesterday, didn't bother to ink her first.I'm still undecided about her outfit - all the other girl's ninja costumes are practical from the point of moving and beating on dudes - Sara's isn't, with the implication that she rarely ever has to give anyone The Business, at least not directly. Of course she'd still have to be ready to do it, and all her secret devices and pointy things need to be concealed somewhere, which is the baggy ninja pants on everyone else (she has three stabby pointy things in her hair, of course). Plus the baggy pants would give everyone a uniform appearance, or close to. I'll mull it over some more, and if necessary we can assume here that she's lost her baggy ninja pants and has continued on regardless. It's entirely in character.

I guess what I'm trying to decide is if I want to give her an outfit that balances "seductress" and "martial artist" or just have her change clothes depending on the circumstances. This will have to be worked on with concept sketches.

I think the changing clothes depending on the circumstances works well. It would make for some fun and interesting variations on her outfit that you can use in different pics.

It seems to me that her sexiness is her weapon. Maybe you should see if she can still look sexy with the pants, but with her chest out like it is now.

I'm thinking I may sketch out some outfit concepts and see what works best for her.
Her concept is more of a femme fatale than the others, but her combat outfit would still be practical; she'd just wear something else when she wants to sidle up next to a guy and slip a live habu into his drink. Because that'll poison him for sure.
