I think I decided originally that Lyta was going to force them to do some light housework for her, and they could have their clothes back when the place looked great, but that doesn't really make sense since it's Miyuki's apartment too and she should be doing some of the work anyway. Also, the only mess appears to be a few beer bottles. So now I really don't know.

Whatever it is wouldn't be too evil, since they'll undoubtedly come out ahead in a future game at some point (and they are her friends, after all), but it has to be worth getting a psychic octopus for.

Hmm what would Lyta want that would need her to cheat?....

Perhaps a continuation from the magazines for blackmail purposes?

Although that brings the question what are they blackmailing each other for?

I wonder are you keeping Secrets penguin and planning on revealing this plot when we least expect it

That is a good question, since she lives with Miyuki she's bound to see her naked fairly often (also likely with Clarissa, in fact). Could be she just didn't want to lose, or she wanted to test out the psychic octopus before taking it to Vegas.

I'm really not sure why they want to blackmail each other either, although it could be in this case that Lyta wants the apartment cleaned and this is how she decided to do it. Could also be she needed a pair of artist's models - [link] [link] In the case of the various Play-magazines I think they just want to have a copy in case they need it in the future, not because they have active plans for blackmailing right then and there.

Well the real reason is so there'd be something to see in the background. Generally they're high up enough that people down below can't really see in too easily (there's a balcony out there, the window is in fact a sliding door). Since they know they're going to be taking off their clothes they'd probably close the curtain otherwise.

Now if someone had access to a reconnaissance UAV of some kind and was flying it around the neighborhood, he could go peeping in that window with no problems whatsoever. Doesn't explain why Lyta'd go along with it though, unless she wanted revenge for this - [link] (but then what did Clarissa do?)

Ahh so like i said before the Black Ops guy May be spying on them hell maybe HE is the one taking the pictures for Lyta's blackmail stash.

And for what Clarissa may have done. Hmmmm.... well it could be a slight possibility that Clarissa may be stealing a few codes from Lyta to find out where some old tombs or ruins are?

Or maybe Clarissa won the last Strip poker game they had and Lyta just wants payback this time.

Yeah, and with a similar hairstyle too, I can definitely see it. I think if I was going to draw Raven I'd use a light blue-gray for her skin tone (like she had in the TV series), instead of white like I do for Clarissa.

She lost her shirt in an earlier hand. Most likely so the others wouldn't feel too bad, although it's also possible that the octopus isn't psychic so much as he can count cards and guess probability very well, which means she wouldn't have an advantage for the first few hands. I'd stick with the former, though, since you'll notice she opted to take off her shirt before her shoes...

Miyuki's actually looking in the wrong direction, since I moved her slightly from her original position a bit. It's probably the pouting expression they both have, since it makes their mouths narrower relative to their faces.

It's impossible to lose with the psychic octopus on your side! Of course, now that Lyta has won their clothes off they'll play one more hand, and if she wins... they have to do light housework for her. Sure I suppose she could make them streak the neighborhood or something, but the living room isn't going to vacuum itself.

Well they could always just reach a natural compromise and she could have them cleaning the living room naked. They get a piece of clothing back of every item that gets clean in there. Done and done.

That's a poster, they're in Lyta & Miyuki's apartment (which is out at the end of Geary, so downtown shouldn't look so big). Presumably they let her use the octopus because they didn't think it was really psychic, which is perfectly reasonable (especially if they didn't watch the World Cup last year).

I imagine with the three of them there are lots of house rules covering disallowed ninja diversionary tactics and ancient Egyptian poker-deity summonings. And now psychic cephalopods.
