Hey, sorry for the slow replay on this. I have a couple brushes at this point, nothing crazy, just rough edges mainly but my main brush is based on the wonderful Drew Green's crazy good gouache brush which can be found here:

I personally don't like to use photo textures (of textured brushes at all really) so the ones I use have strayed from this original quite a bit over the last year or so, but this is a fantastic starting point.

Thanks! It really does help! I'm such a photoshop neophyte. I just marvel at all these amazing dA artists that have this wealth of PS knowledge.
