Not sure if I put it in the right category or not. I don't know, does it count as a waterscape if the water in question happens to be frozen?

I was out on the ice when I took this and many others, crawling on my belly to distribute what weight I have. Don't worry, I was maybe five out past the shore, you could clearly see the rocks through the transparent parts of the ice. At worst, if the ice had cracked, I would have gotten myself wet and had to slosh back home to change my clothes. Isn't ice pretty? I have a theory that if you could facet ice the way you would a diamond, the ice would be at least as sparkly if not more. Don't know if that's even possible though since the melting point of ice is one degree celsius and ice very likely has a low hardness on the Moh's scale...Maybe it would work if we made ice 9, except that ice 9 is end of the world (read Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut).
