I work for adapted some kaiju in my universe of godzilla 1998,Were we have varan, 40m of heiht and 120m of long, fat an slow on the ground, he can fly and swing relativly fast .
I have make the model in 2-3 days, and the texture/skinning yesterday in one day .
(he have no texture for this eyes now)

Should could not only pass as a GINOverse version of Varan, but as a rendition of the character in general.

Varan original design was based on mythical creature of japan like the kappa. the creature in itself in the original beside the grotesques nose on his face it resemble a iguana (which if anybody think about it could be distance cousin to Zilla in a strange way), monitor lizard and dragon lizard except wing membrane was more like a flying squirrel. This design look like he more like some strange monitor lizard mix with a snake and dinosaur.
not in my opinion a that good , but it's your design so I can't really criticize that much.

1998 just... wasn't a good Godzilla movie in any way. It spits on quite literally everything that the original films stood for, discarding the original's poignant warning against the horrors of war for yet another crappy "HOO-RAH, HOOMANS ROCK!! AMURRRICA!!!11!!" moral.
