I am being HORRIBLY reminded of of Brotherhood's Edward Elric right now. Come to think of it, those two have a lot in common. Both shorter than the younger brother, both burdened immensely with things they don't know how to cope with... Thing is Ed deals with it by yelling at people a lot and Sans deals with it by hiding behind ungodly bad jokes. I think I like Sans's way better. Much less "typical". I think all those "bad boys" with mysterious pasts in Anime (I AM LOOKING AT YOU, SASUKE UCHIHA!) Would be a lot more interesting if they made stupid jokes instead of being assholes. Just a thought. Can you imagine Sasuke making puns? I think Naruto would die of shock.
