Description
This is the Weimar Opera House, where the government of the Weimar Republic was proclaimed (I bet you didn't know that was why it was called that
). The statues outside are Gothe and Schille and they are two of Weimar and Germany's most famous writers. Gothe wrote Faust.Funny thing about the statues: Gothe was about 20 cm shorter than Schille, but they decided to make them the same height because it would look better.

It's that artistic license, have to have the statue looking nice and somewhat symmetrical. It's kind of funny seeing the modern people and signs and such in with this renaissance styled architecture. haha
