indeed they are! I tryed drawing John toogood from shihad in a comic book like style with a graphic pen, but I fucked up the shading. I shall try again with pencil I like.

yeah I was just using a black ink pen. I never do draft sketches of things, I dont see the point. I just go and do it. If I ever do anything thats any good I will show you oh wise master of pencil drawing
