Description
Once I have some money, I was hoping to get a commission from which means making a nice pretty reference sheet!I updated a LOT here. I felt like Kya-chan was fairly outdated and needed some work.
- No more heartplug, that was emo and doesn't apply so much anymore.
- No more blue hair. It just didn't make biological sense.
- No more whiskers. They were really a pain to draw.

Perhaps, but then Kya always had blonde hair again when she was in a humanoid form, so huuuuh? I do not know. I always wrote it off as, "It's magic kids. Just straight up magic."

super reference sheet! i love the eye color, and the bow on her tail. does that have a story? i will miss those whiskers, but i understand-- they were probably annoying to draw. well done!

There actually wasn't much of a story other than that Kya likes to tie things on there when she's bored. Maybe I should make some kinda better reason!

It's totally true! It's kind of nice to really sit down and meditate on all of the unimportant physical details of a character.

Thanks so very much! Yeah, earlier designs had a lot more markings and fliff-flaff and I kind of cut down on it to make things easier to draw and less cluttered.

i Love this, all parts of it. i think your choice of colors is fantastic. the lines are elegant, the build is well balanced. the only thing that i could ask for is more detail ^__^

more physical details, there are plenty of them. but the more there are the more times i can come back and see something new ^^

there's also something to be said for stopping when a piece /feels/ right. so don't just add details for details sake, i've ruined some good things by doing that

Blue hair might come back I don't know... but it made me feel a lot like it was too obvious that this character was thought up by a high schooler who really like Kohaku from Spirited Away
