wow pete, this looks sweet as! so modern and has such a sense of abstract class to it. I can easily see it on a poster at a bus stop or train station or something like that 
love the subtleness of the 2D in this piece, the way youve used it to enharnce the render instead of to fill blank gaps. The way youve gradiented the opacity fading 2d objects from one side to the other also looks smmoooooooooooooth 
congrats both of you! I didnt believe your skill level could improve pete but you continue to shock/impress me!
