Updated the original, made it more atmospheric and edited a bit..wanted a new print.To cut a long story short, this piece cost me 60 hours community service, and a £600 / $1200 fine!

interesting concept, perhaps you may use paper-cut stuff next time and pick them up latter - better for your pocker i guess. i know it's against the law to do graffiti just anywhere, and i'd be furious if someone ruins my property, but in this place some pics would only help cheer the place up. too bad many idiots with spray cans do only damage to someone's property, so that's i guess why the hunt is so severe. i remember in highschool we wrote stuff up on the walls of our classroom, and although it had loads of stuff on before our teacher made us wash stuff off and then paint the walls white again

I can see how that's vandalism. But nobody wants to sacrifice for their art anymore, nowadays, so the fact that you took that beat down from the man, rocks my socks. Major kudos and respect from this girl. Now as for the piece itself. I love the arrows, it seems like someone who's totally given up on the world, and all of the questions have answers, the the road to these answers all lead to him/her. Almost as though saying that all of life's answers can be found in the individual. Not upon searching the world, but upon searching yourself, your inner sanctum. My interpretation, at least! I love it so much, and appreciate the beauty and wonder from this piece! Two thumbs up!

As several people have already said, this is pure art, not vandalism. The effort you all put into this really shows; it's something much more than "phone [insert number here] for blowjobs", or who got stoned where.
Watching the video, I find myself horrified by the rest of the human race; how any being can ignore such an obvious problem is beyond me. How people can pass such genius off as graffiti is also beyond me; it should be them being fined for ignorance. Or shot. Both would make me happy right now.
Anyways, this is beautiful, both the message and how you chose to show it.

Love it. I don't understand how people don't get that this is art, not vandalism. It's not like the wall was clean anyway. You actually had to clean it up before you started. And instead of a bunch of unrelated and probably "offensive" tags, you gave people something coherent and aesthetically pleasing. You gave people something to think about, and momentarily made their lives more worth living.
That, to me, IS community service.

The emotion in this piece just blows me away. The moment I saw it, without watching the videos or reading the description, I could practically SEE the art's message stenciled up there with the arrows.
Wow... the police got the complete wrong idea from this. For crying out loud; you guys painted over obnoxious, offensive graffiti with harmless arrows to get a point across. I see nothing wrong with that.
