I remember this from a while back. I had no idea that it had a story like that behind it. You guys worked well to express the sad yet true message.
Now this is art.
Oh and the improvement looks so much better.

Wow I love this picture, found it randomly linked a while ago but I'm always glad to find out the people who made them. This was my desktop background for weeks. Same you got fined, I think its looks awesome. Its not like this actually causes harm to anyone.

Wow... There is a difference between vandalism and public art. Blowing things up, yeah, thats vandalism. Around here they actually pay people to graffiti blank walls. Theres a big one outside my university done by the students and encouraged by the school. At our local beach a huge mural covers an entire concrete wall. Artful graffiti discourages taggers and vandals that actually deface things and make them ugly. Your work is beautiful and meaningful.

+fave for your bravery
I'm not an admirer of graffiti, but this work as an experiment was surely thought provoking and a big fuck off to the retarded British judicial system.

Bravo!!
Amazing piece, and sadly, the video doesn't surprise me one bit.
kind of sad that they would lump you and your work with paint bombs and fireworks...
Keep up the good work!!

I admire your courage to defy laws and create a symbolic masterpiece.
That news report was bullcrap. throwing explosives off of bridges and destroying property is vandalism.
Making a statement that harms nobody makes people take a second look at things.
sorry for the price you had to pay, I hope your community service hours aren't too painful...

$1,200 fine, huh? That sucks. I wonder what genius (not the sarcasm) decided that graffiti art was somehow related to people blowing shit up? (at least, that's what the other team looked like it was doing)
I get the whole "clean it up after you're done" thing, but linking your art to those other jerkoffs is out of line. Hopefully you'll make the money back in prints, yeah?

That's what I thought >.< soooo much money
Well Wirestyle, hun, I think your print might be the first I buy off dA in that case.

The trouble seemed to be worth it, although I still think they should've let you off as a graffiti artist

who'sever idea it was to fine street artists should go to jail forever, just so we don't have to deal with them anymore. This is so cool! I love the black on white/ white on black theme, and the motion of the arrows draws your eyes to a perfect point.

In all honesty, if I had been determining your punishment, I would have let you off... at least as easily as possible. This "graffiti" is art. From the photographs and footage I've seen, this seems to be a nice way to spice up that lame cement wall. :]
Not to mention the statement it makes is beautiful.
I keep searching for beautiful street art around here, but... I'm near Indianapolis, not even a big city in the States...
For now I'll have to settle for looking at great art like this through the Internet and other visual media, rather than seeing it firsthand.
A job well done, my friend. And such a unique way to make a statement... and according to that news broadcast, such a distinct example of how many times an artistic statement is overlooked.

This is magnificent, graffiti shouldn't simply be a couple letters, but a statement and this is the best example of it I've ever seen. Kudos.

I don't care where you are from, people are always ignorant of something. And what you did with the arrows was ingenious.
I am in LOVE with this picture.

I was surprised to this again, let me tell you. Was worried for a moment that somebody stole it from you!
It's cool knowing that you went to a lot of trouble for this picture. Thanks for putting in the effort, I've spent a lot of time staring at this picture.

Why not just have cut outs and tape the arrows on? It would have saved you the community service and the fine XD
But... Eitherway... I like this! XD Probably worth the fine, right?

The idea was very original and very expressive (expensive). Society is shit. This is not vandalism. This is expressing your views through art and ringing a bell. And the Matrix doesn't like that. They want to feed you with "their rules". You don't obey, you get punished. Wake up Neo, they don't want you to speak and get your word out there. You are a malfunction in the "system"

Excellent concept, and paint job. The photograph is spot on technically, but I'm not sure if I'd be happy about the community service, and fine for it.
