British Sherman tank and crew during a lull in the fighting in France 1944This is a commisioned piece for someone. It was done in the style of a colour plate like the illustrations you see in history books, hence no background was added so that the main subject matter stands out

you are painting very much dystopic pictures, why don't you draw a few scenes from a futuristic war ?

yeah,im hoping to produce a set of at least 6 of them to start off with. Futuristic war? I'll see what I can do, Terminator Salvation will be out soon, plenty of inspiration in that me thinks!
