Life. . . or un-life, as it were. . . has been far more consuming, I am afraid. But yes, she has remained quite pre-occupied as well.
How are you, my dear? I hear very little from you.

Well... I've been around. Lurking. I was supposed to be dissapearing but the transformation isn't quite complete yet.
I'm too tired

I can sympathize with fatigue. You have a busy life.
I seem to have bitten off more than I can chew. Or, imbibe as the case may be. The internet is threatening to consume my unlife.
Here's to hoping that I do not vex the Order considerably with my cyberspace presence. You know what sexy devils we immortals can be. Makes us all the more alluring from behind the binary of 0s and 1s where your imagination fills in the gaps.

Oh yes.
Well, don't forget, humanity has become obsessed with all forms of vampirism... I think we can go back and blame Ann Rice for that. Her big-screen adaptations have put vampires on the 'yummy' market.

I have words that could be exchanged with Ms. Rice regarding her depiction of us. Lestat needs to be strangled, at the very least.

The *very* least.
I did learn an interesting fact, however. The child-vampire portrayed in her books (Claudette, I believe was her name) was used to represent Ann's own daughter... who had died of luekemia. 'Claudette' (if that was her name) was brought in to show a five year old who could never die...
Touching, no?

Claudia, if I'm not mistaken. But it's been a while.
That is touching. However. . . doesn't the child end up dying by the book's end?
If I were casting my daughter within prose, she'd have a fairy tale life without worry. I have to be honest about her within my stories, though, and it pains me to confess the matters she's endured. She should hate me.

Hm. I wasn't too far off for never reading the books. How quaint.
As far as I remember the child dies... but since I've never read the books, I wouldn't know :3 Maybe by the time Claudia's death came around in the books, Ann was over her obsession with her daughter's mortality and just wanted to put things in their natural order.
Not that vampires aren't natural... >.>

Vampires aren't natural, they're a paradox. That which never should have been. That which is, but should not be. And that which has come to be a check and balance, yet is still an abomination. Their existence is natural, yet unnatural at the same time. If that makes any sense.
A child vampire, though, is not even a paradoxical part of nature. We're not even supposed to turn older teenagers, but that happens on occasion. My driver, Charles, was nineteen when Sabrina seduced him.

I don't know if you remember Natasha and Nicolai from Un Fantasma Tra Di Noi (which I found my Italian grammar was incorrect... that phrase says "A Ghost Between We"... so the title has been changed to Un Fantasma Fra Noi, meaning "A Ghost Among Us")... child vampires are creepy things indeed. I share Chase's dislike of them... but use them anyway because, well, creepy works.

Oh yes, assuredly, if you are going for "creepy" then nothing says it in louder volumes than "vampire children". I shudder at the mere notion.
