To picture you where you are,
Within your room, lying on your bed,
Gazing up toward the ceiling,
Thinking of me,

Am I hopelessly lost in whimsy,
To imagine that your lips part,
The same way mine do as you remember,
Passionate kisses exchanged between us,
Feeling them as though,
They just happened today?

Can I dream of such a thing?
Of our eyes meeting after all these years,
Gazing upon one another as though,
Nothing happened and we've been together,
Side by side,
The entire time?

Or is this doomed to failure?
Will we finally cross paths again;
Will I be too prideful to admit,
Or you to coy to allow our eyes to converge,

Would we confess a thing to one another?
