glad you like it. although I think it's about time to fold it again, it did not age nearly as well as some of my other models, I also didn't make the talons as nicely as I would have liked... I am still a rather messy folder... XD I think the red looks nice here, but I am not sure yet. what color do you think would look good? I am open to suggestions

Ohmygawd I wanna try. I see the bird base ... but all those details ... wow. Love the wings and the tail, the curl at the end is a nice touch

Holydino....I wonder if there is anything that you can't make in Origami.

all of these dragons are folded from one uncut square. as you can see there are levels of complexity i haven't even scratched the surface of, but I'm getting there. slowly.

Sorry, this was just a threefold experiment, I doubt I'll be able to make the diagrams.

WOW........but if this is from a bird base........then you are manipulating in paper.XD Β
π: 0 β©: 1
PeteriDish In reply to Dwarf4r [2014-05-31 16:36:28 +0000 UTC]
I don't want to ruin the impression, but a bird base is not necessarily limited to be used for birds. I have even made a crab out of a bird base. XD it's only called that because the most famous model that uses this base is the traditional crane XD
π: 0 β©: 1
Dwarf4r In reply to PeteriDish [2014-05-31 22:14:26 +0000 UTC]
Hahaha, that is exactly what I mean you used a bird to turn it into a crab.
You used the same bird to turn it into a beautiful dragon.
And still you say you cant manipulate ......ha-ha now you are cheating.XD
π: 0 β©: 1
PeteriDish In reply to Dwarf4r [2014-05-31 22:24:15 +0000 UTC]
XD the thing is though, the base is still a non-descript geometrical shape, it doesn't even look like the bird yet, but yeah XD that probably makes me even more of a manipulator i guess XD
