It´s actually impossible to distinguish, but I think this is one of my top favourites of your portraits ... I instantly liked the atmosphere created by these tones and the "movement" of your head ... we cant see very much of your face, but it is enough to convey strong emotions ... this capture has something bittersweet, that darkness with these mild accents of light (which seems to have a slightly purple tint on my screen) ... and the term "longing place" also has this "bitter sweetness", I think ... you can barely long for something (which I associate also with "pain") that doesn´t evoke warm, homely feelings and memories ...

Truly a beautiful portrait, with a tender, almost soothing darkness !

[Oh and btw: this is the other picture that I imagined as suitable "cover" for a certain music piece, besides the moonlight sonata one ... I was scrolling through my favourites some time ago and I had my Chopin-"wave" again ... and when I clicked on your photo and the Nocturne op 9 no 1 played, I just kept looking at this picture,  accompanied by that music. And it seemed to resonate all these feelings so well! That was really nice - At least in my head and in my very subjective opinion Musical associations to a (foreign) picture can be a complicated thing, but I wanted to share that little story nontheless ]

I do not know much about photography, but I really like how the Shirt button  seems lit in that dark area of the image.
