A re-edit of a photo I took one year ago today, during a visit to the bridges of Madison County. The white, hoarfrost crystals that morning were covering virtually every surface, creating a true, winter wonderland. It was the first time I'd ever seen hoarfrost, and I was captivated by nature's beauty and innovativeness yet again.This bridge is what Robert Kincaid was seeking when, in the movie, he stopped at Francesca's home seeking directions. It is also where she left a note for Robert (Clint Eastwood) inviting him for dinner.

I like the colors and how the red only just makes it through the trees... its very serene and yet a bit strange at the same time, somehow. Unfortunately the watermark kind of spoils it though.
