Description
Windows 10 startmenu for all Windows OS.This is not a concept. It is a working skin for Vistart.

Short version:
Unzip the file.Check which folder you need to copy and paste. The folder "Newstartmenuforxpvistaand7" is for XP, Vista and Windows7.
The folder "Newstartmenuforwindows8and8.1"is for Windows8 and Windows8.1 Place the complete folder in the skins folder of Vistart. Open the languages folder and rename the english language file to whatever you want. Don't delete it. Place the included language file in the languages folder.After all restart Vistart to see the new skin in the options menu.For use with other skins undo the change of the language file.
If you change your userpicture you have to retart Vistart to see the change.
Please have a look on the included picture to see how to configure the options menu. In short anything which is not blank must be set to "Don't show item"
The skins folder is in appdata, not in program files!

How do you set your user picture? When I used this skin, my username is covering the photos app and there's this "documents" covering the Music app. Also the start button shows a plain blue rectangle with a transparent-white one on top. And the searchbar on the taskbar is nowhere to be seen. Please help!

but i got some trouble because my pinned applications and running applicaiton is covered with that searchbar.

That's normal behaviour, and cannot be changed. The solution is to pin some apps you normally don't use to the taskbar. So the apps you need are moved to the right side and will be visible again.

well, i found my solution
i added address bar to taskbar and move it before pinned application
and solved. now your theme is look perfect!!

it removes my original startmenu also
but when i reinstall it my start menu is coming

i use windows 8.1 like metro clock screen saver in windows 7
but when i change its wallpaper in screensaver setting it dosenot change and showing
error that its not responding , and then it will close but i want change its wallpaper please help us about this

Good job. Shame it's for vistart. I would love to see a classic shell skin of the 9926 (and earlier) start menu because what they put in windows 10 RTM is a big joke. Especially in functionality. Classic shell is the best free replacement for the start menu and offers the same search functionality like the windows 7 and early windows 10 start menu. It just looks a little boring.
