This was my first attempt at a surreal landscape in 1966 while in high school. Very derivative at the time.

I was very taken with Dali's work when I was first learning to paint. So yes it does look like a Dali painting. I was 16 when I painted this.

That was 45 years ago; so it is hard to remember and I was a junior in high school. Dali was a major influence on me and it really showed.

My DA buddy Bitter Alkaloid pointed me here indirectly through his favourites list. I really dig your work. This piece, as mentioned, is very Dali like, which is cool, because for me, Dali is probably my favorite artist of all time! Can't wait to check out more of your portfolio!
