I hope Jane can watch her step! We wouldn't want someone so lovely to be struck.

First of all I go for a walk to see if something is happening and to get an idea, if I don't have one to begin with. Often the ideas first come to me when I stumble over a location that I like. Then I make sure to spend enough time there to shoot an interesting well exposed picture. A picture that would also work without all the post processing. You can't make a bad photo good, but you can make a good photo great (-: I also make sure that I think about the square format in my composition of the frame.
Then I open it in Photoshop and play around with textures, blur, dodge and burn, and a whole lot of masking
- I'm really glad you like my work!

Well, thanks a lot for this explanation! Gives me a great portrait of your work.
On day, I'll try to work the same way. Damn your work is inspiring, haha.
