Very nice use of light and form. The way the curves throughout the piece seem to continue in a smooth orbit is immediately appealing; particularly the ones nearing the base, the smooth finishes of each object are really quite nice.
Looking at the sculpture as a whole, the curvature of the main stem and the point where the loops emanate from appears quite elegant, and actually reminds me of a butterfly, with the intricate, recurring patterns.
The piece receives a flowing, cohesive feel to it, supported by the lovely use of bright colour. The mahogany-like colour is very nicely evenly distributed throughout the piece, as is the glass and metal, further enhancing the sense of balance.
I feel as if the varying thickness of the material adds so much dynamic to the piece, almost like separate layers of the final work, adding a lot of sophistication.
I also do like the background used to present the sculpture, with the varying tones of light adding diversity to the overall look, sharpening the feel of the piece whilst still keeping it as a centerpiece. The different colours also play with the white just slightly, which is a nice touch.
Very elegant use of line and pattern, awesome work!
