Since the dawn of man there has been a debate of one side vs the other. Coke vs Pepsi, Mac vs PC, DC vs Marvel. But in my household the greatest debate was who pairs best with Gadget.
We all know CHIP is the clear awnser. But to appease the misguided Dale fans I propose the following solution. A shared calendar equally dividing the affections and time of the fair maiden. So much easier than the boys say... asking her out or God forbid telling her how they feel...

I have mixed feelings about the upcoming Chip and Dale movie. I WANT it to be good. It seems like a fun story. My little pony! But then again this is 2022... Disney isn't the best at handling legacy properties in a modern era.
My biggest concern is Gadget. Joining the team gave her PURPOSE. She had lost her father and in doing so lost herself. When we first meet her she's obsessed with inventing. Montery and the boys likely the first human contact she had since that loss. By joining the group she found a way to channel her talents for the betterment of animals and people alike.
Maybe I'm reading too much into a 30 minute kids show of my youth. Maybe she'll have a great arc. However I couldn't help but notice that we didn't see any '30 years later' Gadget. Which makes me wonder if they aren't going to give her the tired trope of female leads who were "always held back or overshadowed by her male costars" and is now an independent bad ass with a Mohawk. Gadget was quirky and awkward and to quote creator Tad Stones "Gadget doesn't realize she's cute. She's too focused on inventing to realize the boys are crazy about her"
That made her intresting. Thats why she lives rent free in our memories. That's why there is a literal CULT dedicated to her (look it up). So let's raise a thimble of walnut juice in hopes this reboot will be a good one.

Oof.. I really went on a tangent there didn't I? Are you still reading this? Wow. You deserve a reward. Here: Google "Of Mice and Mayhem" it is a FANTASTIC fan comic that feels like a true finale to the series. I'll post a link in the comments if I can.
