Description This is a scene from Inanimate Insanity Invitational episode 4, since I really liked the scene and thought it would be fun to redraw! The episode is linked here and its from 7:59 to 8:10! “The Overthinkers” | Inanimate Insanity S3E4 - YouTube

If you've watched this show before, and want to see any scenes redrawn by me or a specific character designed, let me know and I'll see if it interests me!

I originally, for the past year or so, decided I would wait for season 2 to be done before watching season 3, but... I missed watching the show so I decided to watch it, and I'm glad I did! As someone who was a fan of Yin-Yang during season 2, I was glad to see people in the comments of some episodes saying that they grew to like them both due to this season! I really like how Yin and Yang have started to be able to work together more, it's nice

Also some very very major redesigns for these characters, I fully dropped the dark grey paws on everyone to act as the actual objects arms being black because I find it a bit boring that all their paws would be the same, and I put more work into Yin-Yang's design this time, and leaned more into the differences between the two fur types due to Yin and Yang being different individuals, which I did in the past a little bit but not to this degree, and I also made Yang's eyes be a lot different then before, giving him a white pupil to match the show and just so his expressions are easier to see! I also made Paintbrush fur point up instead of down because it just makes way more sense lol

Be aware that if you wish to watch this show, the first season was made in 2011 to like 2013, so some of the earlier episodes are not the best things in the world, also considering I think the creators where teenagers when they made season 1. I don't think season 1 is overly offensive in any way (if it is then don't quote me on this, I'm not rewatching season 1 just to post this and my judgment may be clouded by nostalgia lol) and it is extremely important to the characters stories in season 2 and 3, so it's important to watch regardless, but just keep what I have said above in mind. It's fully free on YouTube so anyone with YouTube can watch it
(EDIT BECAUSE I REMEMBERED: the uh Evil Paper plot kinda sucks but you know... it was written by children in the early 2010's so I don't blame them for how they handled it but it's a pretty bad representation of DID looking back and I hope they bring back the plotline at some point and handle it better)

I'm also going to talk more about the importance this show has to me down below, so if you want to hear that then keep reading!

I feel like this show kind of... grew up with me, in a way. Painty's gender being unknown in season one and early season 2 (I think) was always used as a joke, the joke being "no one knows this characters gender, not even the other characters" which since I was a child that didn't even know LGBTQ+ people were a thing at the time I watched season 1 I found it amusing. But they turned this story detail, meant to be a joke at first, into something beautiful with Paintbrush's coming out scene in season 2, which was probably the first even nonbinary character I saw on something I watched. It's just so nice to me that the creators of the show took something that was meant to be a joke and turned it into something positive for people, and a way to teach people that there is more then just being a girl or a boy, their talk with Lightbulb still makes me so happy today, it has a hopeful feeling surrounding it, Lightbulb instantly accepting this information and accepting Paintbrush for who they are.

Also this brings me to talk about how Lightbulb was changed from being a guy to being a girl in episode 3 or 4 of season 1, which at the time was due to a gender imbalance in the cast, but that one of the creators more recently, unsure exactly when but in the last few years I think, said how in the story itself, you have a character who is referred to using he/him pronouns who then switches to she/her pronouns, which even though it wasn't the intent behind it at a time, the idea that Lightbulb is trans makes sense with the actual story content, which is another thing I think is great, because they took a decision that was made without that thought behind it and realized later on how that thought makes sense with the story and basically confirmed it, though not in the show itself, which I find cool as hell. Is this all a long way of getting to the point that Lightbulb being trans is cool as hell? Yes. Also Bot as well, don't think I didn't see the they/them on that piece of paper Bot, I see you. This show is very important to me, and I really love it, every season now has a special place in my heart.

Basically I like the silly little object show with little (sometimes queer) objects running around and doing challenges and having drama and having seen it go from how it started out as to now, it's fun
