The other day, my wife wore a new lavender sweater that looked amazingly good on her. And thus I've been obsessing over the idea of this picture ever since, and tonight, I took the time and drew what I've been obsessing about: So you get to see my gorgeous wife the way I see her, all gentle and pretty and sexy and cute, sweeter than a bowl full of sugar cookies, with a smile that lights up every room she enters, and curves that would make an Alpine raceway jealous.Also, y'know, hooves, because that's my thing.
But I have to imagine centaurs would get great leverage when shoveling snow.

If their hooves (or shoes, probably slip-ons) had proper traction, they'd have lots of stability. But because they'd be using their arms to handle the shovel (unless you come up with a redesign that works differently), the force would still be transferring down and across their withers. That's what gets most humans when digging, so if she isn't using proper bracing and/or practices, she's just as likely to develop wither (lower back) problems.

She hasn't reacted yet; we've been too busy. But she's unpredictable: Sometimes she loves the drawings, sometimes she really dislikes them, and I never really know which ones are the ones she'll go crazy for. So I don't know what she'll think of this.

Aww, now that's a sweet little anecdote/description.
Even if I'm mostly focused on the prospect of extra leverage for snow-shoveling. Because yes, I could go for that.
