It's about time that I make Cloud and Sephiroth in my 10" pattern. I like the characters because I'm a fan of FF7, so I don't know why I never bothered, lol!!I should have added the one-black-wing on sephiroth, but I lacked time and it wasn't totally necessary.
Sold at Anime North 2010.

i'm a HUGE fan of yr plushies now...i'm planning on making one soon...tell me, did you draw the buckles on of u sew them on? it would be a big help!^^
another thing is the eyes...how u make them, u sew them on or cut the shape on white felt and draw the details on....

I painted the buckles on with silver "touch textile" by Pebeo (it's kind of like thick paint, so it has a bit of volume, and it comes in a squeeze bottle so it's easy to use)

If I'm really concentrated and motivated, I can finish one in 3 hours. (but it usually takes me 6 hours since I end up cramming more detail and taking my time)

hair= felt
clothes= a variety; mostly flanelette cotton for these guys.

The buckles were done with fabric paint, so it's not the acrylic I use for the eyes. (they come in squeeze bottles and the paint's consistency is pretty thick, so it gives it volume)

Very true! Their eyes and heads aren't too gargantuan, which is usually the issue and makes most chibi's look more creepy than cute.

haha, I totally agree about the creepiness! (that's why when I made the new chibi pattern, I'd only use it for cons cuz other people like it and I know it would sell. There's no way I'd make plush commissions with ridiculously large heads though!)
