Thanks to for letting me color his fabulous lineart! [link]I just loved the concept behind this one, and had a lot of fun coloring it...I think the hardest part was making her dress have the look like a soap bubble...

That's new and interesting. The Gungans get a lot of flack, but they are pretty cool, They were my favorite Race in Star Wars until I researched the Kaleesh and Mandalorians.

I think she's totally gorgeous - Gungans are so underestimated anyways, just because JarJar got turned in a complete fool.
Thats why I play a female Gungan senator of Naboo in a SW Roleplay forum, who is sophisticated, clever and still funny. I really need to do a picture of her...this inspires me a lot.

You made the Gungan female really great. She kind of looks still funny but there is also a certian gracefullness about her.
(Pheonix023 what i write now is nothing against you.)I find it really childish and boring how Jar Jar is hated among the Star Wars fans. I find him funny and cute and he reminds me of Sid from Ice Age. And that hate is totally dumb and without explanation. Guys, there are clumsy people in the real world too. It is nature, we are not the ones who should judge mother nature.
Jar Jar is more like a big child who had been thrown into the adventure in the first movie. It is understandable that he is so clumsy because he doesnt know it better. He has never been in these kind of enviroments before, so he doesnt know how to act there.
And i also dont like it how people (not everyone) are hating the first movie. Guys you didnt wrote the movies ok? Just shut up and let others have their fun with it. You are dragging other people, who enjoy the first movie and all other Star Wars movies, into the dirt. Im sorry if i sound rude but that is really childish and boring. And the movie wasnt written bad either. George Lucas had a reason to make the movie like that ok? Stop acting like you know everything better.

Er......well.....um......there isn't actually any real Jar-Jar hate posted here on this page, and no posts whatsoever about Episode I.....so I confess I am slightly baffled by your mini-rant, it seems kinda out of place. Why specifically is it here, where everyone apparently likes gungans?

I decided its time to organize my gallery, so now I have a collab folder, a WIP folder, a Lineart folder, a old digi art folder (like, first stuff I ever did...for the most part, crap), a Really old stuff folder, and a Never-to-be-finished folder.

Very nice! Yeah, the textures look good, and I like your choice of skin color--it makes her really stand out from other Gungans, makes her pretty without having to be compared to them.

lol, actually, thats because there are 2 different types of gungans...otolla (like Jar jar) and ankura (like this one and Boss Nass and the council members) the main difference is skin color, and wither or not they have eye stalks.

lol thanks! I did this over night when I should have been sleeping...
...about 50% the texturing is in the lineart...although I do have a lineart free version sitting on my computer, due to me accidentally saving it with the line art "not visible."
