How about "Toi", as that's the Matoran word for "red".

Hmm... There are two reasons why I don't really like it: in the world itself it would sound even more weird, because he would litteraly be called Red there (here it doesn't really matter), and secondly, Toa Toi doesn't sound great in my opinion.

And not to push the suggestion, but Red is a name/nickname. And the sirname Rush (whether German, Irish, or English) does mean "red".

but seriously, i tried that building technique of using little lego wrenches to hold hero factory armor on the old toa arms, on mine the armor didn't stat in place well so good job!
