Been hankering to come up with a brand new character design for a while now, and finally came up with something I liked.I wanted to mix up the pirate design, seeing as how the design trope is quite overused. So, I mixed a little bit of the classic pirate design elements with that of modern-day pirates. This explains the machine gun and whatnot. Her crew are a bunch of Somali pirates and the like.
Also, seeing as it's summer now, I wanted to draw a summer themed pic. Have a great summer everyone!

Wow, this is AMAZING, bro! I absolutely the 80s-esque colors, and how you contrasted the lead female pirate from her male crew. I love the bikini bottom and the more classically pirate bodice top. lol, and the tan lines! I didn't see that the first time around - that's a really nice touch!

theres a reason everyone ad their dog uses ak-47s, ..you can (and i have) stick peanut better in the bolt and still fire off a magazine.. an m16 is the most finicky rifle ever, and it will rust if you don't clean it every day (with things they could not get their hands on most likely) when its exposed to water.

They've gotten a bit old, thanks to Disney's movies, but I've always liked 'em as well.
I remember quite fondly, playing with my fisher price great adventures toys, and staging battles between the pirates and knights.
