Melkor: You know what would make the Hobbit incredible?....Make it an unnecessarily long trilogy with handsome dwarfs, an unnecessary dwarf/elf romantic subplot, padding, extreme comedic/dramatic whiplash, connections to the Lord of the Rings and the Laketown Lord'sΒ assistant wearing a dress!
Peter Jackson: I don't know....I want to do the Silmarillion next, asking the Tolkien family permission to do it. Lord of the Rings did help pave the way to more fantasy based cinema as a legitimate field. Oh what the hay, what's the worse that could happen?
