glücklicher weise hab ich auch noch nicht erlebt, wie mich ein eis aus 20m höhe erwischen würde

well, it's not just a shopping mall, it's the berlin main station
you can see/guess the rails

our shopping malls are much smaller and more crowded

ah, I think I see. I host international students, and have had 3 germans over the years, (always awesome gals to get to know) but the 'metrotown mall' (biggest in vancouver, I think) never fails to overwhelm just about anyone... Sprawling, cramped and noisy.... and the chinese students I've hosted feel quite at home there.

Many years ago I got to very briefly visit the West Edmonton mall in alberta. I think it's still the world's biggest mall, with a huge hotel, wavepool and submarine rides back in the 90s.... I can't imagine what it has now...
