A large chocolate tabby Tom entered the camp, a rabbit in his maw. His little nephew, Wasppaw had helped him, and was trotting beside his uncle with bouncy strides. They bid each other farewell, and moonflare watched with amusement as Wasppaw bonded over to the sandy she-cat known as Ghostpaw. With a slight smile, the warrior started towards the fresh-kill pile, amber eyes gleaming.

Diamondbreeze sat next to the freshkill pile with a half eaten sparrow, watching the nursery with one blue eye, a young she-cat was playing with a couple of the kits. Noticing Moonflare approaching she mewed a greeting. "Moonflare right?"

Dropping the rabbit onto the pile, he smiled at the hazel she-cat. "That is me. And, you're Diamondbreeze?" Moonflare recognized her from her geometrical markings on her face.

"Yes Diamondbreeze," she replied "I guess my markings and eye give it away," Diamondbreeze gave a small laugh and turned to look at the fresh kill pile. "Hunting good then?"

"Mostly your pelt. It's very unique." He pointed out with a slight chuckle. He looked to the rabbit he'd caught, nodding. "Yes, you could say that. But my nephew Wasppaw helped. He's a fast runner. Anyway, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing fine I guess," she shrugged nothing much eventful had happened recently to her in particular, other than hunting with Finchsong she hadn't done much. "How about you?"

"I''m doing alright. Nothing much going on." He shrugged lightly, amber eyes closing a bit in question. He didn't really know what had been going on, not paying mind to much.

"I see, it has been quiet recently, maybe that's for the best though," Diamondbreeze shrugged herself again with a smile. "We've got lots of apprentices and kits, I just hope there isn't another fight," she mewed trying not to remember being held hostage by Stoneclan.

"I'm glad it's been quiet; sometimes it seems as though Starclan wants to give us a hard time or something. I trust their judgement though." He nodded a bit, his chocolate tuft bouncing a bit with his nod. "I'm hoping there's not another fight. It seems as though sometimes that there's always fighting, not enough just living."

Diamondbreeze grinned grimly and raised a paw to her face studying her claws which she knew had seen many battles and drew blood many times. "That's how things go every cat wanting something some other cat has. And others seem to get dragged into their messes. I've been told some awful stories about the fights between us and Nightclan."

At the mention of Nightclan, he visibly seemed to have a darker gaze. His sister's former mate had killed a cat in battle once, and Solarstorm had been injured herself during that time. "It's... Sickening. All the fights, the battles. Not only is it preposterous, but it's also rather futile. One battle will create another one, and the cycle will go on until the fighting stops. It's... Useless."
