Jaxxon is a tall, green rabbit dude from the very early issues of the original Marvel Star Wars comic book series. I did a little research because he looks a heck of a lot like Bucky O'Hare ( another non-Star Wars, green, space rabbit comic book character) but it seems that any similarities are a coincidence. One of Bucky O'Hare's creators did work on one issue of the original Marvel Star Wars but it was a few years after Jaxxon came & went. I kind of like this character it is designed it's just very off-putting maybe if you looked more like peppy Hare from Star Fox or maybe another redesign for him to make them look a little more like an alien amorphic rabbit you can even give him the kind of seem rabbit like legs some alien humanoids have twin knee legs I think they're called

I see. Well, to be honest, I'm rather content with his design, it just depends on who drawing him. Did you see the recent comic they did with him? Marvel did a special issue #108 ( I think ) continuing the original Marvel Star Wars series. It has several artists. Some drew him well and some were just kind of okay. As I recall, Jaxxon was just sort of supposed to be a green Bugs Bunny in space. His name is Jaxxon because Bugs Bunny used to called people " Jackson " back in the day.
Bucky O'hare looks almost exactly like Jaxxon but more to what you were describing before.

I don't really subscribe to the idea that there are "bad" Star Wars characters, best to accept them on their own merits. I actually quite like Jarjar and I know you do too.

I remember reading a part of the arc he was introduced in and I don't know why him and that group of characters get so much hate; they were all actually pretty cool (even if Don-Wan Kihotay's name was a weird choice). I argue if they had been in their own series and not Star Wars, they may have become at least cult hits if not actual successes. It's a shame they are like the black sheep of Star Wars now, they could have been something but now they are just a relic of the old Star Wars comics.

I don't think a lot of people realize that that was one of the very first non-movie Star Wars stories ever written. Back then, it was all just starting & I think the writers were just doing what came natural to them. I just read the entire original Marvel Star Wars series last year. It's really fascinating. It's really like being on the ground floor or the beginning of the whole fandom thing. Some is kinda weird but there's lots of issues that are fantastic. I think many people have begun to re-warm up to the old Marvel series. I'll tell ya one thing, issue #16 was Jaxxon's final appearance but it's one of the best stories in the series. Anyway, all in all, there's probably more lovers than haters out there. Haters just tend to be loud.
