I think she was too skinny for them to make a proper mold for the figure so they put her in a robe to give her more substance.

I think they were really uncommon... maybe non-existent... in the US at least. This came from France. The show seemed rather popular there.

Hmmm... Yes; I remember hearing that Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats was an American/French/Japanese co-production. Much like Inspector Gadget and Dennis the Menace, which were all made by the same company, DIC. But I guess you could only find certain merchandise in France, eh? That's very interesting. Cuz I remember the show being popular in the United States back in the 90s. But I guess it wasn't "as" popular in America as it was in France.

It was around in the mid 80s too but as far as toys and stuff, I never saw any around here. It wasn't until I did some major searching on eBay from other countries that I ever saw stuff from the show. They made the Cadillac that transforms into the camper. There's 2 Riff Raffs, Cleo and then various versions of Heathcliff & Sonja. I haven't seen if they made the other cats.

I don't know much about the history of the show or why Heathcliff merged with the Catillac cats. I think there may be a few episodes that never got aired in the US... but that's just a guess on my part.

It's weird cuz Kevin Eastman, one of the TMNT creators, has a DA account now and has been posting art from all the old Turtle comics. It's just odd to see things I've been looking at for years show up as Deviations.
