just did the tut of =ChaosFissure for using chaotica curves (I hope it will go better from now on xD).this is the result

It's like explosions and streaks of paint! I love the orange at the top right a ton, it just looks amazing!
I do think it might be a little dark.If you adjusted the overall curves / lowered gamma and increased brightness in Chaotica, I think that would accomplish this

i already put the brightness up manually in gimp xD. though you have to keep track of the saturation there as well and when putting it up more it would get too saturated.
though with the new tip it might work better
ps. the streaks were easy to make ^^ just long distance julian
