Meridian Transit, Train't workmate.

Specialized at transporting dangerous cargo (chemicals, prisoners, explosives, ect.) which has risen to his head and he's one kind of a pain in the ass to work with. Complains about almost everything for the sake of secure delivery which sometimes can go to nitpicking even about things such as scratches on his paint which might cause balance issues. He reminds people quite many times how his sacrifice saved a lot of Cons in the tunnels when Autobots (maybe 5, no one remembers exactly) ambushed him long time ago. That was when he was delivering rare ores and unstable energon to a refiner. He had a few options; to either surrender himself and his cargo, let the ignorant Autobots destroy the cargo and everything within a nasty radius, or stop the attempt even if his life was on the line. After a long and painful silence from Merid to buy some time for backup to arrive one Autobot decided to take an initiative to try destroy the cargo. It made Merid block the shot with his body, which damaged him a lot, but he managed to hold them back long enough for Gandy Dancer and Train to get there which was literally an overkill. Bye bye Autobots.

He recovered fully except for the other half of his face, which Toolkit wasn't able to fix other than replace the damaged area with a protective plate thanks to lack of materials for full repairs at the time. All this is thanks to Train managing to talk over their boss to save Merid's sorry arse and bring him into Neutralzone where factions didn't matter. Train simply told that she didn't do it for the sake of saving his life, but for the sake of not wanting to do those deliveries herself, and this ended being an unanimous decision of the whole team.

These days he could have the face repaired, but he has managed with one optic just fine, and the mask is also a nice remainder of his 'heroic deeds'.

Heh, not so bulky, huh? And the V-shape on his chest looks like small hearts instead. Oh joy!
