They can't swim because of the absence of arms, webbed-feet and a paddle like tail. Instead they splash in puddles and the shore of lakes and ponds where they live in swamps. They don't live in groups, but can often be found in pairs splashing in water together. They suck up water through their bill-like mouths and store it in the see-threw pouch on their chest to use in battle later by squirting it back out threw their mouth.
