Because of her constant and merciless plight on her older brother, she knows better than to ask for his help when dealing with problems. The only person that dares to call her by her full name is her brother Rustle, who knows it gets under her skin. Aside from that Shelly doesn't get upset too easily. She's very optimistic and social and makes an effort to find fun in the most dull of situations. Well not any activities, she hates math particularly. Her dad Sheldon owns a bakery and attempted to teach June and Rustle how to bake, but it just didn't stick on them. However Shelly enjoyed baking so much that if she doesn't have tennis that day, she even spends the weekend at the bakery perfecting her craft. Speaking of tennis, it is her favorite pastime, even more than baking. She's actually exceptionally good at it, and this led to a rivalry with her stepbrother Larry, who is the same age and is also very good at tennis. But just because she has a lot of fun outside doesn't mean she can't find fun in indoor activities. June and Shelly play videogames together all the time, and June is often winning.
