In work I've been made to remove all the sticky residue left behind from labels that don't remove completely. I had to use a chisel to get it all off. I've done it so much now, I have nightmares about it. CURSE YOU STICKY RESIDUE

I hate it, I hate it. I just want to cry when it happens.

There's a hack, thou, you can light a lighter near the sticky label, let it there for a few seconds (careful not to burn the thing!) and then remove it little by little. Depending on the kind of label and surface you will be able to remove it with your fingers or you'll have to use a glass scraper, or something like that

You can also use vegetable oil. Safer solution.

There's a procedure for that, I think. We were taught in my chemistry class, but I forgot how we kept things clean.

it adds that vintage look to it

loving all these comics, where do you get your ideas for these? they're all brilliant!

LOL exactly, that vintage look.

All the ideas are just from every day experiences. *Tears label imperfectly* "Ugh why would anyone prefer this..."

especially if you're a collector and you've spent 30 minutes removing half a tag then it starts half sticking and you know it's over. it's the worst.
