First, I'd like to note that this is a REDESIGN of Amy Rose's costume in SmithyGCN's fan game. The original can be found here: [link]
Also, notice my two mistakes: her socks, and the fact that her hair looks pretty stiff.
What I was going for here was a reflection of Amy's maternal, modest personality. I looked at SmithyGCN's costume, and he asked me to give a redesign if I felt it needed one. My first reply was: "OK, firstly: Neck choker, out." Amy Rose wouldn't be wearing punk jewelery. Never. Also, I noticed her costume was low-cut, VERY low-cut, and showing off her breasts is something she wouldn't be caught DEAD doing. So, I raised it so it covered her chest.
Then I had to reduce her bust size to something logical. Sure, they can be big, but how about making them modest as well? That's entirely possible, as I've proven.
Then I recolored her costume. I felt that her costume looked like it were made of leather. Leather? On Amy? Maybe on Rouge, but not Amy. Leather is switched.
And then I made a redesign I probably shouldn't have: her shoes have a McDonald's color scheme. Oh well, at least it doesn't look THAT out of place, like her old "metal grrl" shoes.
I also redid her ponytail, but now I think we should make it a braid connected by beads. That would probably be best.
Also note the two Easter eggs I added to her costume: her necklace has the Dreamcast logo on it. Also, "Rascal", the word written on her belt buckle, refers to an old nickname she had.
I hope everyone enjoys this. I'm currently working on more costumes... But now I gotta go to work. Pttttthhhhhb.
