there's this scene from saving private ryan which is just heart wrenching for me. its when med. wade gets shot up by the machine gun and theyre all huddled around him trying to stop the bleeding. it makes me wanna cry real badRelated content

I watched this in History sometime last week, and I wanted to cry during this scene sooo badly. I just kinda stared at the tv and thought to myself 'wtf, they just killed the medic. Who the hell kills the medic?!' lol But I absolutely love this movie now.

I know...The medic is all "hand me some sulfur and bandages" and you're good as new. But then, if the medic dies...Everyone is trying to fix each other and is like "slap some bandaids on there, you'll be fine" lol. I just never see the point of killing someone as useful as the medic...

To be honest, by boyfriend is a medic in the Army and, according to him, Medics are targeted nowadays because they save lives. I might be wrong on this one, but I think the Geneva Convention didn't come into effect until AFTER WWII where they killed everyone even if it WAS a medic. Now, for some reason, it is being ignored because of the fact that the Middle East isn't a country of organized government, so the convention's rules do not apply.
Revisiting my first statement, it should be pretty obvious why this particular scene could bring me to tears. Nice art work though, I must say. It is a powerful and moving scene.

This was the most gut wrenching, heart breaking scene I've ever witnessed. I could never imagining suffering such a painful death like that. This is one of the few rare movies that have such a profound effect on me that made me cry.

Yeah I agree. When they were trying to help Wade in this scene, he was only bleeding a GALLON of BLOOD, but no guts though. : (

That particular scene was probably when I started crying most of the way through the ending. ;( He was my favorite character. I really respected him for his scene with the dogtags. Really good job.
