To be honest, i never knew of it's secondary effect in gen V and i've beaten the Elite 4...guess the first Lillipup i caught has another effect instead of Pickup and the fact that i never used berries as a held item could have played a part in it.
Whats more annoying in this generation is Sturdy, inadvertedly it makes the Roggenrola line more of an annoying pest than Geodude...eventhough they have the same ability...just that the Roggenrola line gets more hate because you see TONS of those before even getting to the aftergame, imagine, hitting it with a well placed Shell Blade to kill it...what? It had Sturdy?

One little tip to ease the amount of times you'd have to repeatedly press A is to simply have a Rocky/Rugged helmet held by your pokemon...but then you dont have the Lucky Egg held. :/
And the helmet only hurts the enemy if it attacked your pokemon with a physical move.
(only just thought of that strategy)

Hello, sorry for interrupting, but I came up with the perfect solution for that problem, which allows the usage of lucky egg as well!
I caught a Fraxure, since I always wanted a Haxorus, and I had had it with the ability of Mold Breaker, which negates Sturdy. I taught him earthquake, and I swept all those damn monsters out from the way, they were a really great experience source to evolve my Fraxure!

I haven't played anything since Blue, but I can guess. I presume Pickup is a pickpocket move.

Yeah normally it is a move that allows the pokemon to find items when you walk around.
I was unaware of it's secondary effect: when your pokemon eats a berry, that pokemon gets the effects too. So every time I got him down to low health, my pokemon would get hurt, eat it's attached berry, then heal the dog too ; ;

I just recently got the game too, Although that didnt happen to me. o.o I never give my pokemon berries. XD I think i'll do a comic on the shit that did happen to me though.
.... Damn 3rd gym leader. Didnt have anything that worked good against bug types. So I'd decided to just get my servine to a high enough level to own tehm without getting owned.
.... Beat the gym leader with a level 30 servine. XD

I love the last panel in this comic, The face reminds me very much of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. Splendid anime and a splendid comic. XD

I love how all her PokΓ©mon are all beaten and smooshed on the ground; Oshawott looks especially pathetic. Meanwhile, the Lillipup looks like a ravenous jerk. I hope you do more B/W-themed comics.
