This is very helpful and easy to follow. I've always admired how you can make your shading look so smooth only using pixels. These quick tips are a perfect way to get acquainted with pixel art if it's not your medium, which is my case. Thanks a lot for the tutorial

this was great to read. I almost forgot about color palettes ;o;
I've been so busy using so many palettes that I forgot about trying to refrain from using too many
It certainly brought me back, it makes me want to try my hand at restricting palettes again ;u;
great tips hun!

Thanks! You definitely should do something with a limited palette just 'cause. It's always a fun challenge.

This is actually super helpful for me, since I seldom pixel (and when I do I'm always wondering what the HECK am I doing, haha). It's nice to have a little guideline for making palettes since it's completely different from the way I choose colors for (my version of) toolshading.
