so i'm trying to clean up my lines and work with highlights and shading and layersbut

For starters, you've certainly done a good work with the shading on his face, neck and hair, my little friend. The wild hair looks pretty... wild (has no clue what else to call it XD), but rather than to remind me about chocolate, his hair reminds me of wood patterns. :I
Should I just pretend that his hair is made out of chocolate instead? c:

Well, for starters, you keep adding the word "-kun" at the back of my alias every time that you mention it, my friend, and it is so not appropriate. Do you even know what "-kun" actually means? D;

That, or my little brother hadn't told me the whole thing about the meaning and use of "-kun" in Kanji or Hiragana dialect, whichever type of Japanese that word comes from. >:/
Gah, fine. You may continue to add the word "-kun" at the back of my alias for as long as you wish, my friend, though I pretty much would feel uncomfortable being called so every single time that I read it. Besides, it's healthy to live like a kid at times. A mature kid, to be specific.

Then again, having no home telephone at either house is bad as well, so... yeah.

Nah, I actually find divorce to be a rather entertaining subject. I would feel uncomfortable thinking about it, that I will admit, but the concept is just ridiculous. If they were married in the first place, at least show some respect for the other person rather than to blow it out of proportions to get people to side with one. A divorce can be viewed as a really bad argument between friends, except it is on a legal scale.
