*Sigh* Why do these things always happen to me...
And here I was trying to upload a new picture, and what happens? This thing has disappeared from my gallery! I have no idea what kind of stupid glitch it is, but it has already happend once. Not only the site wouldn't let me upload the new file, but also cancel the last one I uploaded! That's just... aaargh, why, deviantart, why? DDDDDDDDD:

Anyway, I won't try to rewrite the last desctiption again, not thaaat much happening here, a mysterious phone call, nightfall that probably doesn't even get noticed because of my shitty scanner, Landon being beaten up twice in one update, and a slight art style change. As I already said, chapter 3 should come out soon
Sigh, now I can try to upload that other picture again too, let's hope it doesn't glitch

I really like how it is the treeko Persia that is the brash one and not the trainer like I usually see with rivals in nuzlockes sometimes. Usually I'm not super big on the whole "rival as a love interest" gig since I have seen it been poorly executed or half assed for humor in a couple nuzlockes I have read, but as of this page I really really like it. This page has really mad me curious about what Brandon had to go do when he received a phone call and it completely changed his otherwise flirty personality. Its really interesting and you ended this page on a good note.Β

oh well, i had started characterizing brendan in a way he just couldn't become one of those gary-oak-motherfucker doubles, so i let persia do the thing xD
actually i didn't want to do it THAT way, the whole crush thing, because it'd seem pretty stupid to me to let her fall for someone she doens't even know, so i hope it doesn't show that much. but thank you very much, that's exactly what i was trying to achieve, and you'll see sooner or later (later than sooner xDD) what's up with that

Also the litwicks and Klinks are genius. Most people don't reference other regions (Especially later ones since it raises some questions.) But that makes the idea's you came up with even more cool!

love the use of pokemon for the mental visuals instead of simple writing like gears and lightbulb, the klink and litwick were nice touches, and this seems to have some good plot insinuations, such as his attitude changing drastically once he gets a call we heard none of, oh ho, what happened in that call? interesting mystery to start building up.
I also rather enjoy how this crush/not crush I like him element has been going, it feels natural and believable

thank you, by now there are pokemon with every kind of form, from ice cream to garbage bag, and since this is a pokemon comic, it was so much funnier to make them like that :,D
this is a very minor part of the plot, but it does relate to a certain event that is gonna set in motion an important part of future events... as i said, the plot i'm planning is quite different from the main one, at least the interactions between characters are gonna be quite different, butΒ that call is... oh well, not a spoilerΒ :3
well i almost needed to include that line because, i mean, it would be quite unrealistic for someone to immediately "have a crush" on someone he/she's only just met, but i'm far from being over in that part, brendan will have his role in the comic, and i don't know if this is gonna be pleasant...

it's unrealistic but you see it written in all the time, so yes, it wasn't necessary but it was good of you to include that line to avoid that cliche. and looking forward to it
