It's too bad that Giga Bowser transitioned over to being Bowser's Final Smash after Melee. However, for someone who outsizes all the other fighters, it's odd how Giga Bowser is actually less powerful than a Bowser who's set to 1.7x-size.

Aww haww!! AWESOME!! I acutually did the exact same thing with ganon, bowser, and mewtwo in smash 4, but I couldn't get giga bowser without a smash ball for bowser, and he's only giga bowser for a short time spand until the final smash wears off, so I had to use normal bowser.
But this is top notch though bruh!! Just like in melee, that was one HELL of a difficult event match in melee.

All they would really have to do is copy Giga Bowser's code and modify it a bit to remove the transformation timer, and make him defeatable (but not as easy to defeat as Bowser, of course)

Man, I always thought that the final showdowns had their own versions like the villains one and the heroes one in the future smash bros games. I always liked the one in Melee better even though I got beaten a few times trying to complete it.

I beat it once and don't remember getting anything from it...
But I feel accomplished

I'm so pissed off that the "Final Showdowns" of Brawl and SSB4 aren't NEARLY as amazing as that one, they're just bloated and lazy.
Brawl had you fighting Sonic, Snake and a giant Mario, which was an attempt at referencing that Final Showdown, but was not nearly as memorable.
And SSB4's? Mario, Sonic, Mega Man and Pac-Man... dazzit.

That event was very difficult for me when I first got into Melee, but I'm still glad I beat it in the coming months.
Anyways, a good recreation to the horrific event.
